Pots made by two people who answer their own email

Wheel-thrown stoneware, glazed in a cobalt we mix ourselves. Nothing is made in batches of more than twenty, and nothing leaves the studio that we would not keep.

  • Batches of twenty or fewer
  • Cobalt glaze mixed in the studio

Table set for two

  • 4 plates
  • 2 bowls
  • 2 mugs

Chosen so that nothing matches exactly and everything belongs together. Cheaper than the eight pieces bought apart, and packed in straw board rather than plastic.

Three weeks from clay to box

Nothing here is a marketing number. It is simply how long stoneware takes when two people do all of it.

  1. 01

    Thrown and trimmed

A mug takes about forty minutes at the wheel, then two days upside down before it can be trimmed.

  2. 02

    Fired twice

Bisque first, then glaze at 1,260°C. The kiln runs when it is full, not when an order comes in.

  3. 03

    Packed by hand

Straw board and paper tape. If something arrives broken we remake it, and we do not ask for a photograph.
