Kilnmark started in 2019 in a former bicycle workshop on the Oude Delft. Everything we sell is made in that room, by the two of us, in batches of twenty or fewer.
Every piece passes through both pairs of hands before it reaches a box.
Trained at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie and spent six years making tableware for restaurants before opening the studio. Mixes the cobalt glaze herself, in five-kilo batches, and keeps a notebook of every firing since the first one.
Came to pottery from furniture restoration and still does the hand-work nobody sees: trimming feet, loading the kiln, packing every order. He is also the person who answers your emails.
