Everything we know about getting flowers to you intact, and keeping them alive once they are there.

We deliver between 14:00 and 19:00 and send a message when the courier leaves the shop. Fresh flowers travel standing in a water bag, never flat in a box.
1. Cut again, at an angle
Two centimetres off every stem, with a knife rather than scissors, which crush the channels that carry the water.
2. Nothing below the waterline
Strip the leaves that would sit in the water. They rot in a day and the smell is the first thing you notice.
3. Change the water every two days
And rinse the vase while you are there. This alone is worth three or four extra days.
4. Away from fruit and radiators
Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, which makes flowers open and drop fast. A cool spot out of direct sun is best.
Tulips five to seven days, dahlias four to six, chrysanthemums and carnations up to two weeks, ranunculus about a week. If yours gave up in under three days, write to us: that is on the flowers, not on you.
Arrived damaged
Send a photo within 24 hours and we remake it for the next delivery day.
Nobody was home
We leave them with a neighbour and photograph where. Otherwise we come back next morning.
Wrong date
Write to us before 11:00 on the day and we move it at no cost.
